Beside the central office in Homburg, biometry in Leipzig (IMISE) as well as the clinical competence centres in Hamburg (St. Georg Hospital) and at the University of Goettingen, we also have a close collaboration with the (german) reference panel of lymphoma pathologists and the reference centre for radiotherapy in Homburg for a rapid and competent consultation of participating physicians and assistance calling patients as also for an efficient realization of studies on a high quality level.
The DSHNHL (German High Grade Non-Hodgkin's Lymphoma Study Group) established significant structures of quality assurance: A reference pathology (guidance: Prof. Dr. A. Feller, Luebeck) as soon as reference radiotherapy (guidance: Prof. Dr. C. Ruebe) were organized. Time-fairly insertion of these reference centres will guarantee patients a secondary investigation of their diagnosis up to 10% of the first diagnosis will be corrected by the reference pathology - and that in case of a radiotherapy they will get a treatment on highest international standards.
